HISTORY

Eyvind Peterson started Peterson Implement in 1946. Eyvind, along with his brother Oliver, ran a successful business for 55 years. Over the years Peterson Implement and their employees have made a commitment to their customers for new and used equipment sales, parts, rental, service and community support.

In April of 2001, Mark and Carrie Kyle became the new owners and continue to carry on the commitment and values that the business was known for. Many ask why retain the name. The Peterson name is well recognized in the Wisconsin community, why change a good thing.

In April 2007 Mark and Carrie decided to expand to better support their product line.  A new store was opened in Durand.  The store is located at 403 3rd Ave West. (the old Kohler Implement).  All of the equipment product lines including Bobcat, MacDon, McCormick, Schuler, Rhino, Dixie Chopper and Bush Hog are available in Durand that is carried in Whitehall which includes new and used skid steer loaders, track loaders, mini excavators, Toolcats, compact tractors, utility vehicles and self propelled windrowers along with rakes, mixers and mowers.
